Maharashtra is situated in the Western region of the country. The state stuns people by its majestic size and diversity. It is more advanced than most states in India and contributes in a large extent to the country’s industrial output. Juhu Beach: – The famous Juhu beach is situated in Mumbai. It is one of the largest and most visited tourist beaches of India on the shores of Arabian Sea. The beach is a perfect combination of rolling waves, powdery sand and hot surrounding. It is one such place which describes life of localities in style. Children, love-birds and elderly groups are the main visitors on the shoreline.

Juhu Beach-Maharashtra

The Juhu beach is always crowded with people who come here to enjoy the beach, play cricket matches or to watch the shooting of films that take place here very often. Juhu is considered as a posh area of Mumbai.

Marine Drive: – The Marine Drive beach is also an important beaches in the state is known as the Chowpatty beach. Marine Drive Beach is situated along the shoreline of the Arabian Sea and stretches right from the Nariman Point to the foot of Malabar Hill. The beach looks magnificent at night because of the street lights that have been installed. Thus the beach is referred as “Queen’s Necklace”.

Bassein Beach: – Bassein Beach is situated in Bassein, which is somewhere around 50 to 60 km from the Mumbai city of Maharashtra. Baisen is also called as Vasai. Bassein in Maharashtra in addition to being a magnificent beach is also a place of religious and historical importance. The white sandy shore provided by the Baseein Beach is just perfect for lazing around or strolling aimlessly. The palm trees encircling the Beach unquestionably include to its scenic grandeur.

Shriwardhan: – The beach has soft sands coupled with gentle winds. This place is heaven for the beach lovers.
